PC communication module is an electronic device that allows communication between DCC command station and personal computer. This allows to control layout using specialised software with the help of command station that will send the driving signals to all the devices on layout. Wide choice of PC communication modules is available on the market, but they are high priced and function limited. However if command station is Arduino based, then it has an integrated functionality of communicating with PC making requiremnt in additional hardware unnecessary.

For the first try, I'll be using Arduino based command station. Later I'll integrate the communication feature in next generation command station also, to exclude the necessity in additional hardware.
