3D printer enclosure is useful when working with plastics with high shrink factor. Keeping surrounding heat within enclosure makes plastic shrink less during printing and not to lose their contact with the printer bed.

Automatically ventilated enclosure can also keep dangerous fumes coming from some plastics in the controlled enviroment.
